Yea, possibly one of the single most awesome ideas to come out of this thread. Right up there with Primal Tali.

and when think about  it, it's not such far fetch idea. Most if not all of Shepard's Allies are not in good standing with The Council.

Yup. And I think it would be just AWESOME if Shepard basically either becomes the Anti-Saren, or follows in his footsteps. I can garantee you if Shepard isn't outfited with Reaper technology, he will be. Overlord and Paul Grayson both act as serious foreshadowing for this...

Cool. I quit playing once I maxed out though. 7 years of my life wasted.

That doesn't have to Rannoch that can be any world off the front line you do realize that right?   you can put the non-combatant ships in  orbit almost anywhere. 

Noone will be willing to help them and the council would attack if they tried to land on a habited (or empty) world.
We've seen it before.

 

Who said it have to be a Council world or and Inhabited world   hell there are plenty of the Gas Giants with moon systems  that can be used a hiding spot.  Matter of Fact I willing to bet  that the Fleet already  has a few hiding spots already set up for something just like this.    
 
worst comes to worst  give them IFF and  take em beyond  the Omega 4 relay and hide em  in the ship grave yard. make the ships look like  wrecks.   

All I am saying is that if the Board doesn't want to listen to reason and  goes to war with Geth. I don't have time to be pulling their asses out the fire. They  know that they can't win that war, you and I know they can't win that war.
