It's the facts of life gentlemen. Be an ass hole, you get an ass holes pay. 

I know this has been the source of endless debates on other threads, but I kept the base with the reasoning it's too valuable of a resource to just throw away... but afterwords I really, really wanted to see some options that let Shepard spread the reaper know-how around.

"Say, Tali, Legion, Mordin, Garrus, Samara... I've got this important data I need backed up. Why don't you send off a copy to your respective species for safe keeping..."

Sometimes the either/or choices in the game aren't enough to reflect what would really be the sensible path to take.

In all honesty, I'd keep the base, but right after I get out of the omega 4 relay, I call in Hackett and the Alliance/Citadel fleet to take over the base from Cerberus. 

Cerberus get's ****ed, everyone wins!

We approve, but don't let the quality of the writing falter for the sake of self-imposed deadlines, a late epic chapter is better than an on-time meh chapter.

Naw. We just work fast, and we have it all discussed before hand. We know what we're doing. Mostly.

Salvage/research.

Actually, just let me give them a Reaper IFF duplicate even if I don't keep the base. Lots of awesome salvage in the galactic core.

Are there that many? Legion is one of the most interesting characters to write for IMHO... The hard part is not letting it devolve into some kind of syrupy fluff ala Data from Star Trek TNG or Terminator 2.

But this is probably something better discussed in the Legion thread. Tali has a shotgun and doesn't like thread hijacks...

Wouldn't the salvage be gone due to the Collector base emitting the ME fields that stopped the black hole from eating everything?

Admiral Daro'Xen: I don't know what to say, Commander. The Fleet can always use more resources, but this is just so... massive. I can't imagine how you jumped it through the Omega-4 relay.

We like the darker tone, too many stories are childish happily ever after types.

Damn straight.

true.... but still....good writters should do nice stories... not put the effort into tragedies....then again only good writters can do tragedy.... but still eager to see the work after Xen ^_^

I write all kinds of stories, and I hate the cliche of ever ending being happy. Some of my favorite movies are bittersweet or sad. Man on Fire and Million Dollar Baby are two of my all time favorites.

I like Bitter sweet the most in novels or comics, they feel more rewarding. But Well this aint a bittersweet story, is a very good tragedy... so good work
