Now I might have to argue that point. Quarians seem to be fond of reliablity and ruggedness as important factors. And I think even with the improvements over the years we can acknowledge that the kalashnikov family is still one of the top dogs in that regard.

No, she likes Shotguns.

She does, but doesn't mean she won't ever use a rifle.

Example, suicide mission. You can have a preference in a type of firearm, but doesn't mean you won't use another plat form.

Drop in a CMMG gas piston kit.

Done deal.

EDIT: Besides, AR's are more versatile and ergonomic than kalashnikov's. Bolt hold open, bolt release, mag release button, non cammed mag well... You can change caliber by just unsnapping the upper receiver and plopping on a different one. Accuracy is unquestionable. I'm an AK guy, I own both 47 and 74. Awesome firearms, but I'd still rather have an AR.

Could see Tali rocking a AR-10 .308, bigger round for them synthetics.

Hrm, point. Also now that I think about it you notice that all the quarian marines were carrying M-8 avengers.

M-8 is the standard alliance assault rifle, so its analogue in our time would be the M16A4.

Guess Quarians buy american
