And replaying ME1, Idk how I didn't notice the subtle greatness...the way she says "I was curious" referring to the geth patrol...I need that audio file.

Tali's lines is ME1 are well delivered but personally I find her voice to be a little too high pitched. I prefer the slightly lower, more mature voice that she has in ME2.

There's also the fact that Tali is the one that speaks up at every available point.  Not sure if its because I only use her and Wrex, and he doesn't have many lines, but I find a strange signal, Tali tells me about it.  The hull on the Mako is breached, Tali lets me know, someone needs to add addition dialogue to a conversation, Tali's there.  Couple that with Tali having the most dialogue in ME2, and I don't think Bioware is too clueless when it comes to Liz's talents

Bah, combat lines are combat lines. You're right about the more mature voice, but now that I'm replaying ME1, I'm almost 100% positive that Liz purposefully made her voice sound younger and more mischievious. Just the way she said "I hunted it down, and extracted it's memory core"  makes me think this.

In truth, a lot of the previous VA from the first game showed a change in maturity going into ME2, specifically Maleshep, Tali, Garrus, and Liara IMO, it really helped with the progression.

I took Garrus with me on Feros and he took most of the technical lines. I took Wrex and Tali got 'em. Sorta depends on the mission.

The "who gets what line" I think depends on their skills, and also their paragon allignment.

And of course he's a bro, this was my 2nd most crowning achievement in the game;
