I'm still wondering about the context of that statement. Doesn't FemShep have to turn down Jacob first before hearing that? Dude just got burned in a relationship by a chick who dragged him into it. Doesn't seem that off to me. Also, Jacob's line when asked to stay with Garrus isn't particularly indicative of prejudice. "I don't think that's such a good idea" just sounds like "Hey Shepard, you sure you just want one person on your six down there?"
