I can't decide if Garrus is looking at her supportive waist... or her armaments...
It could go either way.

It spins
The world changes
It turns.
Each time it touches the sun and the moon...
it takes new shape
The one thing that does not change..
is my powerlessness
its turning.
If fate is a milestone, then we are the grist.
the is nothing we can do
So I wish for strength
If i cannot protect them from the wheel
then give me a strong blade
and enough strength..
To shatter fate.
Ladies and gents I am out i will see you after work

You know... I really can't decide which dialogue choice I like better for Tali's romance...
"You have nothing to be embarassed about... I feel the same way..."
Or...
"This mission is dangerous enough... I can't risk your safety for THAT... no matter how much I'd want to..."
The middle one gives that kind of response? Does it count as a turndown?
And how about the renegade choice;
"Wait, I can't tell under the helmet. Are you blushing?"

I always thought the neutral option would stop the romance. What does she respond with?RiptideX1090 wrote...

I like her reaction to the first one, but the second one is more in line with what I'd actually say, and it keeps things suffuciently awkward, whereas the first just kinda... stops...

But.... you'd like to... that's... uh... good to know...
She says it kinda in an insecure, hopeful sort of way, and it makes the following conversation where she apologized make a LOT more sense.

That's a different part of the conversation, and I never go with that option when it does come up either.

Wait. Can Shepard tell Tali that?
It sounds exactly like what she says when they're talking at the drive core.

Ooooohhh, thats nice. I was always scared that it would end it right there.
And the drive core-middle answer is better after that!
"Are you saying you're not interested?" (or sumthing like that)

Which is why it makes more sense. She apologizes for bringing it up, she opens up, and he can either turn her down, or see how badly she needs it, and decide, screw it, I'll wait as long as I have to, we'll figure it out somehow.

Agreed.
Also, captains orders? Screw that... she got orders from Rael. Middle options is better.
"Whenever you've figured it out... I'll be here for you..."
