Yes, I know it's the wrong response, but I'd like to voice my approval of your choices of the middle option. ("Captain's orders" is almost on the same level as "The priiiiize")

As for the middle option at the start of the relationship, I never tried that one, and it's definitely preferable in my opinion. (Fortunately, I haven't reached Tali's romance yet in this playthrough (taking it reaaaaal slow and there's tons of other stuff to do, like catch up to the 95 blog updates I have left and play TF2 now that the Engie update is out))

I personally think it makes more sense to go that route, and it's more in line with what I would personally say.

Though, her reaction to the upper right option is adorable.

Most all of her reactions are pretty damn adorable in the romance arc, but yea.
As cute as the progression is in the game I thinK I'm definitely going to have to change a good bit for the fic to make it feel natural.

No, because it's Tali's response to "Captain's orders", which made it contrary to the flow of the conversation. (Hence, it wasn't necessarily "wrong", just inappropriate)
All Tali's responses are great responses. (Including the one to the renegade rejection; heck, that's one of the best, most heartwrecking pieces of dialogue in the whole game)
