Just curious, which mission is your favorite for taking Tali? Of course, her loyalty mission doesn't count. Either for combat reasons or her dialogue.

hacked -> Garrus, Tali has extra dialog whe nyou leave her to help garrus. "Just like old times hmm Garrus"

Normal game -> Samara's recruitment.

Heretic Station and Reaper IFF, because of the dialogues.

This, so much this. The same reason why I take Legion on Tali's loyalty mission. The extra dialogue makes it totally worth it.

Mordins loyalty mission because this.

Heh. I was going to say Mordin's loyalty mission as well. However, I like Garrus's dialogue more for that mission.

I never liked Heretic Station with Tali because it seemed like she should have known more than her dialogue lets on, particularly since the description of the station mentions it was a Quarian station first. Though the descriptions in the game does tend to conflict with the dialogue. But combat wise, of course I'm going to take Tali along whenever I take Legion as well.

Her comment about the Shepard VI is always good for a laugh, but squadmates don't actually do anything for Thane's loyalty mission. From what I've seen for the dialogue pre-Horizon, I probably would have really liked to bring her to Garrus's recruitment.

I'm looking forward to seeing the council coming around in ME3.

Like they did from ME1 to ME2? No thanks. I'm not going to suffer through that again just because Mr. Air-Quotes is having a bad day.

I still fantasize about the turian councillor and Anderson fighting back-to-back, holding off waves of indoctrinated thralls in the Council chamber.  It would be glorious.

*The Councilors are holed up in the Council Tower, holding off Husks until they can get EVAC. Anderson and Velarn are holding the two side staircases leading up to the chamber, while Tevos is holding the main staircase with her biotics. The salarian councilor is above them, and is dearmoring the Husks as they come with sniper fire.
Anderson: Velarn! One behind you!

*The turian turns around as the Husk makes his attack, knocking his shotgun from his grip, but quickly recovers and pulls a 10-cm serrated knife from his boot and stabs the Husk in its head*

Velarn: Thanks! It's been a while since I had a squad that can keep up with me! And here I was, wondering if the Human representative could actually man up in a fight!

*More husks come in, and Tevos is straining to maintain the biotic singularties that surround the main staircase*

S. Councilor: Running low on ammo here. Numbers problematic, cannot keep support fire up for long!

Anderson: Then let's hope Shepard ends this soon.

I have a feeling that the fluff text writer and the script writer didn't talk much.

Well as I understand it, the "levels"where devided up between several writers so characters dialog was writting by the Writers with the area not each writer had a character and "followed" them into the different levels.

Yeah, also something I noticed rercently about Legion's dialogue.. if you send him through the vents in the suicide mission, at one point he uses both a singular personal pronoun and says "Shepard" in the same sentence. I can't tell if it's on purpose or not, but considering the "tone" of his voice, it might actually have been done on purpose.

Or if you send Grunt as the Leader on the second Team and he dies he say's he lost his shields even though Grunt don't have shields.

Let's hope that BioWare have learned from their mistakes. Don't want ME3 to be filled with stuff like this.

There's a possibility it isn't a mistake. He uses "Shepard" in the dialogue immediately proceeding the fight with Tali. It could be that, through the change in syntax, they're trying to portray that he is subtly changing over time.

Also, let's not forget when he says "Shepard" in his grumpy tone, if you picked Tali's side in their confrontation.

But I think that's because he's not so happy about Shepard's decision at that moment, so I'll let it slip.

I like using Alexandra/Alexander/Alex/etc. (any permutations of the name Alexander) for my Shepards because of what the name means:

Protector and defender of mankind

He actually does that from time ti time. Rarely, he'll just call Shepard, "Shepard", and refer to himself as "I".

Too much time around organics... I think...
