I can respect a vengeful Shepard, especially if he's a Colonist, no?

Colonist/Ruthless is the failed version of Colonist/War Hero IMO.  Instead of rising above the tragedy of the past, the Shepard instead allows it to consume him/her.

Quarians once had an embassy on the Presidium. But they lost it when they had the Geth issues. They asked the council for help with the geth, but they refused.

"Maybe if they had, we wouldn't be here right now."

Nah, knowing how  people tend to be ungrateful, I think they'll still see quarians as a 'worse element'. Well, at least until quarians will get fed up and pull off Helghan on the rest of the galaxy.

But who will deliver the inspiring speech?

This is why I hate War Hero. Hate it with a passion. Ahh well.

Haters gonna hate.

While you're repelling entire batallions with only your giant penis, I'm playing with a slightly more realistic background.

But right you are.

A single sniper can stop an advance cold in an urban area.  Especially an undisciplined advance.  I don't see how it's particularly unrealistic.

And I'll thank you to leave my other remarkable endowment out of the equation.

I think it's fine. Ruthless is  a rough and tumble renegade, and soul survivor just makes everything uncomfortable with a past like that.

Ruthless is kinda douchey.  I mean, getting everyone killed to accomplish a mission in such a fashion...

And maybe if the Quarians had sought co-existence with the geth in the first place, instead of launching a preemptive strike out of fear.. they wouldn't be in this predicament either.

I'm with the council, they did this to themselves.

Especially if its just a 10 foot wide gap in a defensive wall.

You kill the first group and then drop the ones that are still brave enough to try to get past.

there's some truth there.

still doesn't give them the right to punish the quarians 300 years later.

Things don't necessarily have to be realistic in video games. They are just video games. In the Mass Effect trilogy, Commander Shepard single handedly prevented the return of the reapers and saved trillions of lives along with the galaxy and halted a vicious cycle of death since millions of years. Repelling a ragtag pirate militia for a couple of hours doesn't exactly compare to what he did afterwards.

We don't really know for sure, but if the raid didn't have vehicle support (given that it's pirates and mercs) then yeah, they'd have had a hell of a time.

And even if they didn't want to waste resources and maybe thousand of lives to wipe the geth out, it's still better than just letting them hide behind the Perseus Veil and do whatever they want.

Three recent challenges have been met. Anyone else wish to provide a challenge?

Requirements: link a youtube video with a song (with lyrics) that you wish to see if I can create a story from. Simple enough, yes?

Perhaps not, but with recent geth attacks, certain hostilites are expected and understandable...

According to Tali they didn't know the Geth were that advanced. They thought the were just a little better than VIs, so they tried to shut down the machines. Little did they know they were self-aware and intelligent.

It was the Germans in France and the Vietnamese that I was thinking of, but that example works pretty good, too.

I know, but I was just voicing my opinion.

Oh, and Garrus did it in ME2. So if he can do it...yeah.

Another excellent example.  Heck, Garrus is more manly, since he held out for two days!

"One man gets the rifle, the next man gets some bullets. The second man
follows the man with the rifle, and when he is shot, picks up the rifle
and carries on fighting!"

But the reality of this is dubious at best.
