I already read chapter 4!

Loved all the references in the final chapter, especially since I read all of those fics before.
To be fair, your fic was a bit short, and I thought Tali's leaving might've been elaborated a bit more, but aside from that, it was some excellent writing. And above all, a unique, and interesting plot.

Glad you liked it Goat. It feels good to know I can get such a positive response from a story.Taog_Drapehs wrote...
lol well TK Dude just did the same thing. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Anyways, 3 manly tears and 1 debris falling in Jones' eye later I guess is conclusive enough.
Well, I am a proponent of the adoption process for Shep/Tali pairings (Shep/Garrus and Shep/Jack as well). And having a little girl was just the sort of D'aaaw that the story needed. Maybe because I'd like to have a daughter of my own. *shrug* But once the inspiration struck for the story, I could not help myself - it had to be written.I would say "That reminded me of Raela...you both are wonderful d'awww inducers"
Really? Brawling has two chapters (one entry), and Uncomfortable Conversations as well. I also added the final chapter of book one of the This and That series. Did you already read them? "Dark Side" and Memories and Beginnings were posted on the same day.Thundertactics wrote...
Ah, uhdnrt.
I think I'm going to the stories I missed from you now. (Already read your "minifics" though)
edit: Hrrm, only one I haven't read yet, "Dark Side of the Wards", leaving 61 updates now.

It's pretty good Thelacan. Considering how it went in the first couple of chapters, I didn't actually want to finish it. It was hitting my ragequit button pretty hard. Then it got better. It has my approval.
And I am glad so many liked my newest short story. It just sort of sprang up outta nowhere from a discussion being had earlier in the thread. Lightning struck, and all that. I had to write it.
I read both Brawling's chapters, but I didn't read Memories and Beginnings, I assumed it was that "No more shallow graves" story...uhdnrt wrote...

Huh. I just put them together, and the This and That series is currently 84 pages (32k words) long! Damn. Guess I have written a bit. o_O

You read all of them eventually? And you still don't hate me fiercely?
And your newest short story was teh Jackpot for me. I was just so... can't even find the words! I feel like I was hit by shock and awe-tactics from a platoon of Abrams tanks.

The chirality issue is the big problem. Although Miracle Mordin could probably fix that. Even then....Thundertactics wrote...
I too, am a proponent of adoption with Tali 'n Shepard.
But there's still a huge part of me that wants to see how BioWare'd explain biological babies.
Though arguably, it would be possible to engineer a quarian's DNA (preferably Tali's, add some randomizing to that, and you'd be fine) to assume some of Shepard's DNA's traits (the quarian equivalent of those, of course). And this is possible within the ME universe. (Miranda and her sister are living proof of the capabilities of genetic engineering in the future)

Some posters have sensitive rage buttons for certain topics. I thankfully, do not. Still, such a plot smacks too much of Deus Ex Machina, and far too contrived for the ME universe. If they were both of he similar chirality, and had similar genetic makeup? I could possibly be convinced. But, there are no in universe examples of such cross species breeding, and not information about the genetics of each species, to give it proper speculation.Just_mike wrote...
I suggested the same thing awhile ago. People in the thread started raging. GL, Tali-speed.
