Well if someone like the SB was in the Galaxy when the Protheans were, I'm sure he would know about Ilos, because informations about it were even in the Citadel but were deleted during the attack.Thelacan wrote...
I bet that the Citadel didn't have records of Kahlee Sander's father's true identity. Not before Anderson made his report, or maybe not even after that.Formis_Sage wrote...
If SB was agent of the Reapers, he would gave the Shep's body to the Collectors immediately.
And Reapers usualy get all informations about galactic races from the Citadel.
SB knows A LOT more than the "official" Citadel books would. Also, SB is better to know such other, secret things, when general info and whereabouts can be acquired from the Citadel. Like what planets are colonised by what race. What ME relays are in active use, etc.
SB knows the hidden military lab on the planet X.

Shepard: Hell yeah, we got the band back together!
Liara: Kill them all!
Shepard: Well... she's almost all there.
Garrus: Actually, she's been saying that since the first game.
Tali: Really?
Garrus: Yeah, you never noticed? She's done it more times than Shepard's told people 'I should go'.
Tali: Oh.
Garrus: *teasing* Distracted a little?
Tali: It was the ship! Get your mind out of the gutter!
Liara: I will admit... it's good to be home. If only for a little while.
Sorry, Redemption makes the matter pretty clear.KnotEngaged wrote...
I've always figured that they had some sort of relationship, you don't take on the most powerful criminal in the galactic underworld for a dude you hate, even with Liara's status as semi-retarded.NuclearBuddha wrote...

I'm left wondering what consequences this DLC will have for those who romanced Liara. Will the completion of the mission with your help reunite Shep and Liara, if you were unfaithful to her will that come up? What was her relationship with Feron really?
As for Feron, friends. They're literally not together long enough for anything to happen (even for Liara, LOL), and she unwillingly tolerates him for most of Redemption.
But it's funny to joke about:

You know what would be hilarious? If the Shadow Broker was Liara's father. Then Shep could help her kill BOTH her parents.

It's not great, but still somewhat interesting. At the end of it Liara seems to really regret having given Shep's body to Cerberus, and seems to just make peace with him being gone in her mind.KnotEngaged wrote...
Didn't read it. Tie-ins are almost always complete **** and I never really liked Liara that much anyway, so oh well. If she didn't like him that much then her reasons are more dubious than I previously suspected, and it makes her even more unstable.NuclearBuddha wrote...

*Standing over the smoldering ruins of the Shadow Broker's Lair*
Liara: I... I can't believe this.
Shepard: I know.
Liara: First, I get trapped by a Prothean Bondage Device and find out my mother's trying to kill me-
Shepard: Harsh...
Liara: Then, against all logical sense, you take me to kill my mother-
Shepard: You asked.
Liara: *shrieking* Who in their right mind wants to be around to kill their mother?!
Shepard: Well... at the time it seemed like the considerate thing to do.
Liara: Then you die, and I go through hell trying to get you back, including raising the ire of the most dangerous intelligence agency in the galaxy...
Shepard: Thanks, by the way.
Liara: ...and it turns out the Shadow Broker is my father. And we killed him.
Shepard: ...
Liara: Both of my parents wanted to kill me. We've killed both of them.
*Beat*
Shepard: *holds arms out* Who loves ya, baby?
Liara: *punches him in the arm*

I'm hoping since they call it an expansion they brought the VAs back but I rather doubt it.

Liara teams up with Feron, who is playing all sides (working for Cerb and the SB) to get Shep's body. They go to an SB base, wreck it but obviously don't find SB himself. But they do figure out where the hand-off of the body to the Collectors is. They go to disrupt it, and Feron distracts the SB's men while Liara snags the body. Feron is captured. Liara turns the body over to Cerb, and Miranda acts all creepy about it. Liara wonders to herself if she did the right thing, seeming to come to the conclusion that the dead should be left to rest in peace, and that she should be more worried about saving the living (like Feron).Formis_Sage wrote...
