I've got absolutely no interest in a cliche everyone/Shep dies ending personally.  I never got how ultimately dying is supposed to make people seem more heroic.  If the mission that they undertake is suicidal in nature, that shows a willingness to sacrifice yourself for the greater good, a heroic deed.  Dying when you could've succeeded and lived just means you failed, hardly heroic.

Everyone living is cliche, too. No-win situation. Wouldn't you rather be able to choose your ending rather than "you win or you don't finish"?

Or you can save it
and live. That doesn't make you any less of a hero. If anything it makes
you more of one because you survived.

Yeah that's my
feeling.  I never saw dying as inherently heroic.  Risking death is the
heroic action, not actually dying.  That just means you messed up at
some point, and probably messed up a lot of things that you could have
helped in the future [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/uncertain.png[/smilie]

But
there is a difference between messing up something that could have been
helped, and an ultimatum. You either have to sacrifice yourself or you
fail. THAT'S what I find appealing.

Meh,
that gets old, though. And very very VERY rarely have I ever seen that
set up when it DIDNT feel contrived.

Also, hello Tali thread.

It
can be done better in different mediums.  Jumping on a grenade to save a
bunch of people in a movie is heroic.  For a prospective ME3 scenario, I
don't see how it could be done without it being obvious that there was a
better course of action possible.  Like "we don't have the krogan or
the geth's support, now Shep has to sacrifice himself, isn't that
heroic?"  Not really, because he should've got their help in the first
place.

My opinion? It will be same as it was in ME2, Shep's possible death will depend on your actions.
And this time I hope it will be all actions from all three games B)

And with this, I'm going to bed.

Keelah Se'lai, all. ;)
(Sorry for any mistakes, damn nose bleeding and damn heat!!! <_<)

The game? Too much development cost for too limited an audience.

Those Red and Blue/Green ones or one of those that you don't see the lens color when looking directly through it?

I'd rather have something that is universally compatible than limited to one brand only.

One brand is better than nothing.
I quite enjoy racing and shooting in 3d.

Moot point for me. It's absurdly expensive here.

Some people can't even see 3D, a recent survey showed that 6 million Britons can't.

Fortunately I can. It looks mighty impressive in movies that make good use of it.
