Rune, did you blow up or keep the collector base in your canon game?

I'm gonna have to agree with Riptide on romances. The instant love and happily ever after bores the crap out of me. Usually. Morely likely than not.
No, but a Renegade ending Shep likely wouldn't be with Tali. In the end, a fully renegade playthrough almost invariably embraces Cerberus ideals - and Tali would have no allowance for that, IMOPacifien wrote...
If you thought that was too far, I wonder what your idea of appropriately twisted even is. Do only paragons romance Tali around here?

In my experience, you can only hurt someone so much with fists, unless you plan to beat them nearly to death.
Want to REALLY screw with someone? Get into their head mentally.
Then again, I've been called ruthless before, so whether you should actually listen to my advice is debatable.

I always like reading people's summaries of their Shepards. Never could really write one of my own, just a summation of actions with specific reasonings that may or may not relate to each other. Try explaining a paragon Shepard who left the Council to die, destroyed the Heretics, and kept the base. I can only debate it so many times.RiptideX1090 wrote...
I actually write out profiles for my main Shepards.

Writing up profiles like that allows me to get into the character's head, and it REALLY makes a difference. It makes them really feel like their own character, as opposed to another random "Shepard".

I prefer in-character writing, mind maps, and character journals. I gotta get into their heads to understand them, myself.
That's probably why for all my dozen of playthroughs through ME1 and ME2, there is only one of mine that has a more in depth story to it. The one who makes decisions not because they are decisions I would make, but because it works for that character and provides for the best story, I think. So with that sort of mentality, I did have to think about each decision as they would work to the overall story.RiptideX1090 wrote...

It's a bit of effort, and something I've only ever done for Mass Effect, but it REALLY breathes life into the story.
