I wouldn't trust that man to water my house plants.<_<

And suddenly your plants become Thorian creepers.

lol I never thought about it, cuz I haven't played Stolen Memory yet. I guess Shepard says something like "it's clear" and Kasumi says "it's a plant".

Only one problem, The Thorian was a plant, so Shepard has every right to be cautious, right? :P

Lawl. Shepard now has a phobia of all flora.

It's the curse of the dialogue wheel, I would say that some choices weren't meant to be thought of as renegade/paragon, but they still give you the paragon points for releasing the virus onto the Heretics, no?

And metagaming says TIM isn't going to build his own Reaper with the CB, so I'm kinda not analyzing the situation at all. It's a shame I won't have my ideal playthrough until after the events of ME3 (when I start over from ME1).

Man, that Heretic Base mission.... All the renegade responses lean toward rewrite, and then when you're actually given the option, it's a paragon decision!

I don't actually care about the whole paragon/renegade system, but then again, I've never not had the charm options for the loyalty fights. Don't think the paragon/renegade system really matters beyond what your dialogue is going to sound like.

Metagaming says the Illusive Man plays with Reaper tech next week. :P

Funny thing... to me... anyway, funny thing is that there are a lot of renegade options I'd peg as stupid, but keeping the Collector Base wasn't one of them.

I'm not going to go "YOU FOOLS!" if you destroyed it, though. Most of my playthroughs did destroy the base.

Agreed, while giving that power to someone who clearly shouldn't be trusted with it is bad, I'm hardly willing to bet every life in the galaxy that we can beat the reapers as we are now.  Its a lose/lose choice really, neither side is good.

Why couldn't we meet Kasumi in ME1? Like to see her say that when she meets the Thorian. But anyway, we're off topic so...

I don't either. I think I'm going to have to just assassinate him.

I'm debating whether my sole survivor Shepard wants to do just that.

Ah, I got my sole survivor covered on that part. Destroying the base was like "sucks to be you, Cerberus!" Dish served cold.

You make a solid point, but I have a personal problem using more or less any technology that runs off of liquid people.

Okay, when I said it doesn't matter, I was meaning something way more than just that. Conversations here and there don't concern me much. I didn't shove a gun in Conrad's face, but if the game wants to say I did...

I was going to say something about Solyent Green here, and then I thought about how Quarians pretty much eat liquid and paste and... Keeper protein vats.... the thoughts just weren't going to a good place.

I think the para/renegon & persuasion system restricts roleplaying.

In my experience, you can only hurt someone so much with fists, unless you plan to beat them nearly to death.

Want to REALLY screw with someone? Get into their head mentally.

This I like it has weight, no greater way to  **** with a person then to get them to destroy everything they hold dear and make them  destroy themselves.

I think if you Paragoned him, he just says that to sound like a badass, like you're the one who taught him to be a "Spectre" or something.

I've always assumed the tech in there was more along the lines of stealth detectors that let you see the Normandy, or ways to manipulate the relays like they can't be currently.  The reapers have lots of goodies like the Thanix Cannon that we could use.  While its possible that liquifying people is the only useful thing there, its not really probable, and if it is, its more of a dead end then anything else, since Cerberus isn't going to make a reaper.
