The original was posted in two separate parts - the first half almost got some nerdrage outta Rune.  Made my day, it did.  I had always planned on adding the second part.  Especially after he amount of man-tears that it caused when initially posted.

But yes, Brawling. After writing it, I just realized I really, really liked the Garrus/Jack pairing. Honestly, Garrus's Paragade messes a little too well with Jack's personality. Plus, as a proto-Shepard, I could see Jack being drawn to the turian, as he really is Shepard with a harder edge (for the way I played it in the playthrough I base my stories off of).

Something tells me it'd be kind of sweet to see the survivalist just take a back seat as Jack has a revelation of sorts...you know, the dark reality of the Reapers that everyone's been fighting finally takes over after so long. I'd guess that would alter everyone's attitude as well, nearing the end of all things.
