A Shepard/Tali " find every quarian girl her Shepard" dating and Pilgrimage assistance initiative?

good Idea?

Someone asked a question a long time back about "if you were a quarian, what would you bring back for your pilgrimage."

My answer was:  I'd travel as widely as possible, and then bring back a list of all the people who were kind or treated me fairly or helped me in some way.  Since the gift goes to the captain that accepts the person coming back from the pilgrimage, whatever captain accepted me would be providing an advantage to all of the young quarians on his ship when they went on pilgrimage after me.

That would actually be a good Idea. Big advantage for those Pilgrams of the ships that have extensive contact lists of friendly persons or companies to render aid when in trouble or assistance in procurmant of needed supplies or job opertunities.  I can see this as being a prestigious item of pride for the ship.

Part of it is a joke, but the reflection is still the same. Then dead Tali pics get posted and oohh noes why would they do such a thing?

We're giving morons a reason to troll when ground has actually been won in the form of understanding.

I gotta take a break.

Seth, a date with Tali is not creepy, Idk why you're here if you think it is.

I'm glad you liked it. I hadn't thought about a Part 2, but I don't see why not. As soon as I hack into Tali's omni-tool....

Appropriate muse, I suppose:

To be honest, "Take Tali out on a date" would be semi creepy. I would buy it. But... that would be kind of strange gameplay...

But I chose the answer because it's freaking funny!

Why?

Take Tali on date.

Dialogue section such as Stolen Memory to follow. Punching a rascist waiter would be nice.

Crazy **** happens. Tali and Shepard fight off a terrorist attack together. A group hoping to catch Shepard unaware or something. Group that takes out Shepard gets mega badass points, after all. Save the day. Romantic evening ruined, but it's okay. Mission ends with them looking out on a scenic view with them resting their heads on eacthother's shoulders.

I'd take that over shooting up another Cerberus facility/crime lord's backyard.

And yes, it'd be hilarious.

One of the best things about it is that it doesn't get old.  I mean, neither does a pilgrimage gift of food or resources, but anyone can make and update a contact list or bring one to a new ship.  And you get to see as much of the galaxy as possible and do a host of amazing different things along the way, most likely.

It also looks to the future, in helping other quarians survive and thrive during their challenge.

I don't think it's creepy much myself. Rip does have a point the Date DLC would turn into more of an action movies plot and could easily be done to include ALL LI's.

Or you could work in a Cerb facility or a crime lord, if you wanted.  Dates are very flexible like that.

I can also see it a a way to get perhaps exclusive contracts for skilled labor or materials. More business for the fleet is always good.

Taking any love interest on a date as a DLC is one of the most pathetic and weak ideas for a DLC that I've seen around these forums. But I don't play the game for romance, so it can be as simple as failure to understand. Maybe it's the greatest DLC idea ever. Maybe it becomes the best selling DLC for Mass Effect of all time. I'd rather play a DLC that dives into the Shadow Broker's world.

Sir *tip'o'the'hat*

Your Tali date DLC idea actually sounds infallible. If ever a "Romance Pack" were made, that is.

Then Leliana's Song-esque DLC for the non-LI squaddies.

Hey, it's great that you're getting the DLC you want, then!  Maybe you could have a little tolerance for the ideas of others since you're already happy.

You see?

This is why I LOVE DLC!

If romance isn't your thing? Don't get the romance packs. Don't want extra guns or costumes? Don't buy them. Not interested in extra missions like Overlord? You don't need them.

It allows people to by only what they want to get. This is why I think it's such a cool idea.

I can see it.

Tali and Shep having a romantic dinner in a restaurant, and then a band of mercs just steps in through the door, starts to argue with the owner about money, and then Shepard is given the choice to interrupt with Paragon (Tell them to leave in a well thought out-way) or Renegade (Walk towards the leader of the mercs and punch him in the face) or just watch how it'll play out.

And then hell breaks loose.Image IPB

Well all we've seen is that the dev's "know of" the want of a Romance Pack.

And as Rip said, it would mostly be combat oriented. And we haven't had a dialogue-powered DLC in awhile, no? For our squaddies, that is.

Tali and I taking out another Cerberus Cell?

I'd find the blood smeared on her visor after a long torture session with the idiots responsible sexy.
