I can see it.

Tali and Shep having a romantic dinner in a restaurant, and then a band of mercs just steps in through the door, starts to argue with the owner about money, and then Shepard is given the choice to interrupt with Paragon (Tell them to leave in a well thought out-way) or Renegade (Walk towards the leader of the mercs and punch him in the face) or just watch how it'll play out.

And then hell breaks loose.

Make it batarian terrorists instead of mercs, and you've got something here.

Tips the Host extra and says " sorry about the mess" Walks back to the Table and finishes his dinner with Tali. only to be interrupted again by more Terrorist blinks wiring down from the roof's windows.



Shepard exasperated drops his fork and give Tali a "really? now?" look before they both get up and inflect a new form of hell on the attackers for botching there romantic moment.

I have an idea for a fic either mini or longer thanks to this discussion. I will say this Tali gets medieval on some asses and comes out looking like she stepped into DA:O for a while. Then cue romantic moment with Renegade Shep.
