I don't think it's a geth shotgun. I think it's a quarian shotgun. It looks geth, because the geth are based on the quarians. Like how their faces look like quarian masks.

I think it would be silly for it to be a geth shotgun. The fact that all of the geth who use shottys in the game use Katana or Scimitar would make it... weird that they don't use the geth one. But, meh. It can go either way.

I'm still excited.

No. But obviously the designs are based on Quarian tech. Look at Legion. He's a new geth model, but he still looks like the older geth, who all have quarian designs and tech incorperated into them.

Just saying. If they DID made a quarian shotgun, it would make sense for it to look similar to geth weaponry from a design standpoint.

It's Bioware's right. They want to make new content and charge for it? I respect that. They gotta put food on the table too. If people don't think it's worth it, they should buy it.

I can understand that, but what about all the other geth tech? Their ships, colossus' and so on. I imagine that the geth have produced some tech on there own, and designed it on their own as well.

The only geth ships we've seen are Heretic ships, and we know they built them to look like the Reapers.

The geth fleets may very well look like the flotilla ships for all we know.

The story and lore even specifies that the geth developed technology of their own. It's part of why the Council refuse to believe that Sovereign was a Reaper.

And I doubt the quarians have the resources or the spare time to be designing and producing unique shotguns when there's already tons of equally viable shotgun models already in existance.

But who knows? That other gear may very well be part of new packs! Story, or even more stuff like Aegis! More customizable armor with new weapons to boot? HELL YEAH.
