And that's all for tonight. Thank you for your tolerance.

Tolerance? No.

We anticipate these. ^_^

Tolerance is not chasing me out of town with pitchforks. :?

Oh, I know it's not everyone's favorite thing.

Not mine. Pitchforks went out of style a long time ago. Now we're using molotovs and bricks. Keeping the distance, you know?

Top again? Alright.

I'm surprised people around here don't hate me, to be honest.

Or maybe they do, and they're just polite? :?

I unno. :(

It costs nothing to be polite.

And "I unno?"

Leave my grammar alone.

Still...the Liara folks are going to get even more pissed off if you can't discuss the relationship with her. Seems the Liara DLC has elements of a no-win scenario.

"royal" we? I am just saying that we both believe that we should have been able to break things off with Liara. correct?

It will be jarring indeed...jarring if the relationship is not addressed (at least if you bring your ME2 LI along) and more so if the relationship is discussed yet Shepard is not able to express that he or she wants things to end. I still want squad banter, but taking into account all of these things, it does not seem likely.

You know, when the Queen or whatever makes pronouncements, she uses "we."  The royal we.  But I get what you were saying, I was just needling.

I'm questioning if it will be a squad outing in the sense we're used to.  It would be just Liara (like the just Kasumi mission).  Or it could be that Liara will be the bystander and just show up in cutscenes.

Yup. We want DLC. It's a really big problem? Why others DLC working fine, but this one doesn't?

Maybe they had trouble with the localization teams on keeping the new squadmate dialogue consistent?

That caught my interest.

Know what would be great?

The chance to kill Liara.

She is the Only character who can't be killed otherwise... and her dying at the end of this mission would just be poetic... as a possible ending... showing that even non-squad characters can die off in the middle of the story.

Well there's a screenshot they released where Shepard, Garrus, Tali, and Liara are all together with their weapons out pointing at something

(here's the photoshopped version because I am too lazy to find the real one)

That would be one of the greatest ways to further alienate the Liara fans. Which I doubt is on the agenda the devs have.

That would be a pretty big leap for a DLC. Liara-fans who aren't getting the DLC would be confused as hell when they buy ME3, and then they can't find Liara.

Ashley/Kaidan and Liara, as I understand, cannot die in ME2 specifically so they have integral roles in ME3.

Your face is getting stale.

And I said it should be an options. Like... redemptive suicide. You see the screens? Look at how damaged the building is. I bet that was LIARA. She's on the warpath. I bet if nothing else you have to stop her from Tearing apart the Broker at some point, if you're paragon.

Just saying, it might be interesting as an option.

We'll see what they do with it.

I'm actually more sad for the Ash/Kaiden folks.  A bit of wailing, gnashing of teeth, and self-doubt over there.

they did that so they wouldn't run through the ringer twice.

EVERY character has the chance to have died only ONCE. Except for Liara, who has never had that.

This would be a chance to haver her "Virmire Wrex" scene.

Just saying.

In an interview during a part where they were talking about character DLC (one that expands Shepard's relationships with them or something), they showed a clip of Ashley. So I don't think all is lost for them to get there Ashley/Kaidan dlc thing. I will say, some of the Liara fans in their thread...scary (they are of course, a minority). I never noticed the same from Ashley/Kaidan fans.

This was what I was thinking, too.  That somehow the localization wasn't working out.

I've heard that the Polish localization is legendarily shitty.

Maybe.

Depends on what she does.
