They get the failShep option on the matter in ME3. Seems a simple solution.
And people lack the mental capacity to realize most things aren't fair.
Either way, we have people complaining.

I kind of feel like I'm unwanted here, as I don't post considerably each night, nor write/draw anything.
I've contemplated the idea of writing something Mass Effect related, but I fear it would be overlooked immensely.
But if you do plan on writing, I support the idea!

Agreed completely. The Shadowbroker thing added nuance to her character that she sorely needed. I can understand though, given the shift in direction towards something a bit more sinister or dark, that Liara fans may be annoyed.Azint wrote...
I just completed the Illium arc today, including Liara's sidequests. I do feel from her dialogue that she is miserable and regrets what has happened to her, I do believe her when she says that she wants to join you.NuclearBuddha wrote...
Liara has some redemptive dialogue, but it's very easy to miss, and for a while it seemed like only the Liara fans knew about it, which gave them kind of a seige mentality.
At a story-telling perspective, I like this Liara better than the ME1 Liara. I felt ME1 Liara was too simple, she did not have much going for her to interest me. I thought her ME2 appearance surpassed her entire role in ME2 because she was actually a dynamic character who was capable of doing things on her own and not the innocent princess-esque cutout she was before.
Even if Liara does return to her normal state after this, she has a lot of scars to bear. That is interesting.

It's like you read my mind. I've had an "Own Character" idea floating around for quite some time, now, and I felt it was a good idea, but like most writers, I fear criticism. Ahh, well. I guess I'll have to suck it up.Collider wrote...
Try writing about original characters you make up that are in the Mass Effect universe. I would say that could very well get some views as it deviates from the standard torrent of squad mate romance self-insertion fanfiction that is probably out there.Strawberry Kiwi wrote...

Maybe, but as a character I believe the Shadowbroker thing was beneficial. It gives her something she has conviction about, which was missing in ME1.Mukora wrote...

I've said before that when SWC trolled everyone with that poll that was what broke Rune.Collider wrote...
He has posters of Tali in his room everywhere, remember? And he gets upset over people who don't like Tali or don't consider her their favorite in every possible way.
But he's getting better.
Now, RE: Raela, I got a nice PM a while back from Rune in support of the story. It's not particularly his favorite, I think (for reasons others have mentioned) but he's not against it or anything. (Even though that would be a perfectly legitimate stance to take.)
