I found all the characters in ME2 to be very interesting characters, even Jacob has his pros. I don't like all of them, but I do enjoy their depths, regardless.

But I can appreciate why some people like them.

If nothing else, I admire Bioware's ability to actually make me HATE any character at all. I tip my hat off to them for that.

Evidently she was.

It's a shame how they did it. Thane was made as a romance interest from the ground up and he turned out to be far more nuanced and interesting than ME1 Liara.

While I can see the appeal in Liara's romance, I don't see the value in it.

Thane's romance, though I personally disliked it, I can actually understand why it would be appreciated.

The thing regarding this thread and hating characters is, while we may bash the characters, very seldom do we ever bash the fans of those characters - unlike some other threads.

w/e, you're absolutely right, and the thread moved too fast as it was.

It 's important cuz it got to the point where "some" people weren't coming by unless "the crew posted"...kinda showed me the fragility of the support thread in general.

I missed the first crew posting completely, and left in the middle of the next one.  One of my first posts on the matter was "I'm not so sure this is such a good thing" and one of my next was "you realize that any hugs are from a greasy, overweight dude, right?"

If it turned out Tali's ME1 suit had been repurposed for another quarian once she got her "post-pilgrimage" suit and we'd see a quarian looking just like her from ME1 in ME3.
(That said, I bought Tali like, 15 seperate envirosuits, including several stages of the Colossus set (I got the requisition license before the BDTS DLC), so there might be a hell of a lot of happy female quarians donning high quality military-grade envirosuits)

What's going on? Do I want to know? Probably not, I'm guessing. Regardless, I'd just like to say I finished another ME2 playthrough and was once again unable to resist romancing Tali. I managed to make a playthrough where I romanced Jack, just one, but it was sooooo hard to do.

I liked everyone that stayed more plus Talis first home is always her true home. I never even made an accoutn over at TZF, mostly because I have enough forums to visit.

I might bash the HELL out of some characters, but I have NEVER bashed a fan. Other than Kraidy, but he's a special case, and we're on decent terms now.
