Also, I know what hate this'd bring upon me, but if there were an option to dump Tali for Daro in ME3, I'd take it, perhaps even in my first playthrough.
The emotions, they would be grand beyond belief.

If it was an option I defenately would try it out, or atleast make a save at that point to try it later.

I'm sure he can increase the surface strength enough to walk on it using biotics.
(YES, every Shepard is a biotic, some Shepards are just too much of a badass to use them on a regular basis)
