Whenever a Swedish company translates something, like a game or a movie, they get about 70% of the translations wrong, or makes them sound ridiculous.

And when that happens, I say out loud: "Stop butchering the English language!"

I'm not sure if it's a resource problem (truth be told, there are like 30 VA's in total here, which are all used over and over again, occasionally some real actors or singers are thrown in there too) or just the fact that at least 90% of our population above the age of 12 has at least a basic understanding of English, but I'm glad for it too.
I couldn't miss out on Liz, Claudia and Shohreh's epic voices; not to mention, I hate it when stuff gets dubbed anyway, I also hate English books being translated into Dutch, which happens far more often. (When looking for a copy of 1984, 4 out of 5 stores I visited only had the Dutch version, the palm hitting my face could've crushed a planet)

Same here, I usualy say "Keelah se'lai" at least three times before I really leave and even then I'm lurking.
That's the power of Talindoctrination.

It's not just that anymore, I always catch up with all the pages I missed (usually about 70), meanwhile I decide to visit some other sites (usually news sites or other forums) while waiting for something to respond to.
And by the time I decide to quit, I realise I just wasted 6 hours of my time, but a while later, I'll just come back and waste another 3-4 hours, I just can't stop! ;_;
Usually I'd spend my time in between to at least make some nice sigs, avatars or other GIMP/Photoshop related stuff, but even that semi-useful activity has vanished from my daily schedule.

Well...it's pretty much the same situation as yours. I felt a little sad because something happened (like it started to rain. Almost like a waterfall) and then I thought of her joyful conversations in ME1, and that made me feel better.

Yes, that too, though I believe a lot of those cut-scenes are in-engine, only the Kerrigan bits and some parts of it are actual CGI.
