Yes, when I first saw the character skills, I presumed the Infiltrator was OP as hell. (Disruptor Ammo, AI Hacking, Cloak, etc. all while carrying a sniper)
Unfortunately, the lack of geth kinda diminished that. (Still the best class in-game though, in my opinion)

When this guy showed up...

I thought: "Oh, I'll just cloak, take a few potshots at him and then hide until the power has recharged. Rinse and repeat."
Little did I know that this cheating little bastard can see through my tactical cloak, and that caught me completely off guard, and then I died.
Non-synthetics are not much of an issue when you can pick bonus powers like AP Ammo or Warp Ammo.
It's almost too easy.Posted Image

Yeah that pissed me off to no end. So i had to use my Infiltrator like a solider which was hard as hell.

I'm just curious, is taking back the homeworld pretty much the consensus for the regulars of this thread?

Infiltrator kicks geth ass. Just boost Disruptor Ammo to the point where it can stun synthetics and then the passive skill. Then it's pretty much a walk in the park.

my favriote class is Soldier. you can almost use every wepeon in the game, which I think is useful.

I found the Soldier class to get a little boring after a while. Howere i do agree that being able to use all the weapons is very useful.
My favorite classes would have to be the Adept and the Sentiel. that's just me though.

there is one type of weapon the soldier class cannot use the SMG guns for some unexplained reason which is weird.Posted Image

My favorite class is my coalesced.ini edited makeshift Pyro.
He uses the Flamethrower from Zaeed's loyalty mission as his main and only weapon, he's also got Heavy Incinerate, Assasin Cloak and Inferno Blast Grenade as his secondary powers along with them insta-regenerating and unlimited heavy weapons ammo.
I've outfitted Tali with the same gear.

Yes, my friend, the results are glorious.

sounds and looks like it.

still I prefer soldier class.

Infiltrator, if only because it's been a life long dream of mine to be a sniper.

I'm already a marksman in terms of raw shooting skill.

I'm with Kal'Reegar on this, frontal assault is suicide. Would it work outside the cliche if they actually got it through peaceful means?

Probably because they can use the assault rifle which counts as the automatic weapon and is more effective.

Yeah, that "spray until it's dead" mentality is not so fun in the long run.

Personally, I can't stand Adept. I think it's too one sided, and the Alarei is not so fun when you have almost no powers that are effective against synthetics.

Sentinel, I like, even if it becomes almost too easy when the Tech Armor is fully upgraded.

Sure, the geth wants to do their little thing with that megastructure more than fighting a seemingly pointless battle.

And they don't do anything with the homeworld, so why not give it back? Everyone has learned their lesson.

Peace is best achieved through peace. Violence will only destroy.

It's hard to define how peace is attained. Saving lives through bloodshed perpetuates the need for violence yet it is necessary lest we be victims to violence. Likewise our diplomatic stance on preventing violence only goes so far to take philosophical disputes and overall conflicts are inevitable. It's up to our decisions if we would prefer to act by our actions or our words and how we best deal with those who themselves decide the best course of action.

If the Geth were to lay down their arms before the Quarians would we see some taking shots? Of course. Same for if Quarians did it because, as we have seen from Legion, such a difficult decision is so split down the middle they alone cannot decide. It takes an outward party, such as Humans, Asari, Turians, to truly make the peace between warring species happen. Same thing goes for Humans and Turians: Asari and Salarians stepped in and now we're best buddies.

Diversity breeds both intrigue as much as conflict. We can never be too far from violence within peace but it doesn't mean it should fuel our actions simply because someone decides it's better to be wrong and fight than be right and concede. Overall who are we but individuals? Species don't make us who we are we do. Such as we should understand everyone has equal footing to be as good as us if not better and within a collection of varying options does the Galaxy evolve.

Sometimes I think the thought of letting the quarians return would cause another schism among the geth. Takes much more than an olive branch of peace to wipe away three centuries of distrust on both parts.

Don't know if you've watched the BSG reboot, but it reminds me of how some humans were so upset with the alliance with the Cylons, it led to a coup attempt. There will always be quarians who hate the geth with their very souls, even if the Admiralty Board says peace must be had.

The geth will be wary of betrayal as well. Get some geth who say don't take the chance, others who say there is nothing to fear from returning a planet to the Creators.

The same thing happened between the humans and the turians after the FCW, but they seem to cope with it, even if there is some mistrust here and there.

Xen is the one I'm most worry about, I fear she will have to be put down to make sure that peace can have a chance.

Yes, using whatever means necessary, though preferably through peace.
Alternatively, there's Daro'Xen.

Either would ensure support from both quarian and geth military.

Not exactly the same situation, though. In that case, the Council to which the Turians have recognized as having authority in galactic matters told the Turians to stop. Then they welcomed the humans with open arms.

No one is telling the quarians and geth to play nice. And they've spent far longer hating each other. The humans didn't even know who they were hating until the war stopped.

I suppose if military strength is the main concern, then Daro'Xen's plans is the way to go. I was always more of a death before rewrite person, though.

Fear and Hatred are two reasons why peace is hard to obtain. Distrust is quite common among species mostly because members are afraid of their species to become "Changed". The quarians and geth are both civilized species, Even though they had a long quarrel.
