Xen is the one I'm most worry about, I fear she will have to be put down to make sure that peace can have a chance.

I'm fairly sure she'd settle for peace, she's very protective of the fleet and its inhabitants, she wouldn't damn them all because she thinks the geth are tools to be reclaimed. (You might even be able to convince her that she's wrong about the latter through an ULB)

That said, experiments on AI or geth afterwards cannot be prevented with certainty, then again, I don't think the geth will abolish their peace just because of a small group of people.

Okay, maybe it's just me, but when I clicked on that link, I heard nothing but static and clicking sounds, with a bunch of random and colorful lines and I think it did something to my computer, because it blacked out for about three seconds.Posted Image

Yes, using whatever means necessary, though preferably through peace.
Alternatively, there's Daro'Xen.

Either would ensure support from both quarian and geth military.

Pretty much this.

Paragons use peace, and Renegades go with Xen. Idiots go with Han.

Setting it up for peace though should require actions taken in all three games... I think...

Giving Geth Data to Tali. Tali not Exiled. Data not Revealed to Board. Tali and Legion conflict Resolved. Both Tali and Legion must survive.

Things like that would REALLY do a lot to give the final game real consequences. Would be awesome.

I think so.

most think it should happen through peace (which is the best option if you ask me)

Peace is best achieved through peace. Violence will only destroy.

It's hard to define how peace is attained. Saving lives through bloodshed perpetuates the need for violence yet it is necessary lest we be victims to violence. Likewise our diplomatic stance on preventing violence only goes so far to take philosophical disputes and overall conflicts are inevitable. It's up to our decisions if we would prefer to act by our actions or our words and how we best deal with those who themselves decide the best course of action.

If the Geth were to lay down their arms before the Quarians would we see some taking shots? Of course. Same for if Quarians did it because, as we have seen from Legion, such a difficult decision is so split down the middle they alone cannot decide. It takes an outward party, such as Humans, Asari, Turians, to truly make the peace between warring species happen. Same thing goes for Humans and Turians: Asari and Salarians stepped in and now we're best buddies.

Diversity breeds both intrigue as much as conflict. We can never be too far from violence within peace but it doesn't mean it should fuel our actions simply because someone decides it's better to be wrong and fight than be right and concede. Overall who are we but individuals? Species don't make us who we are we do. Such as we should understand everyone has equal footing to be as good as us if not better and within a collection of varying options does the Galaxy evolve.

Fear and Hatred are two reasons why peace is hard to obtain. Distrust is quite common among species mostly because members are afraid of their species to become "Changed". The quarians and geth are both civilized species, Even though they had a long quarrel.

reminds of one of the Star Trek movies with captain Kirk, can't remember the titel

So I managed to complete the Suicide Mission with only Garrus and Tali surviving and it turns out only Tali will show up with Joker in the end.

still I see Xen play a big role in ME3 as villan or least you will have a some sort of conflict with her.

To be honest I don't think Han and the Board have the balls to go for a full frontal assault on the Geth homeworld. I've basically realised that the Quarians could have just sailed into the Terminus, find a world they liked, put the fleet in orbit and ask anyone who lives there to leave. If they don't leave they kill them. Easy as that the Quarians have a new world.

Are these feelings what shapes your opinion or do you feel differently? I think it's not about how we percieve others it's how we feel others percieve ourselves which is wrong. What would be better is to truly see how we percieve ourselves. We make up a manifestation of our views on other species without an interactivity. The first Geth to speak to us without a sub-routine of wanting to turn our bodies into cheesegraters and guess what? Far more logically civilised than most of the ship's crew up until this point. Remind you of anyone?

Yep I mean Tali. Isn't she the first Quarian you see? Sure we don't have a multitude of them in ME1 to vary our opinion from the template Tali gave of her species yet think about if we met Legion on Eden Prime. Imagine how different the story would of been with such a feasiable change. Would Tali have reached out then? A dashing commander who recruits those worthy to go where others don't or simply a mercenary who finds the ends to any meaning?

We fear what is true. We hate what is obvious and like ourselves to be shrouded by ignorance and comfort because it keeps us away from having to make the changes and instead let the changes happen. Shepard represents the best of humanity because he's there to make those changes. We should always remember, especially with Rachni, we cannot be swayed by what we know until we know our own knowing. And by knowing we become the truth: fearless and loved.

Oh, I'm sure there'll be a path where the best solution (or your preferable solution) would be putting a bullet through her brain.
However, I'm putting my faith in BioWare and saying that they're better than making that the only solution.

I don't think the rest of the community would take it so lightly.

And then it comes to finding the right planet to colonize. I don't think they can just pick a habitable planet at random and roll with it.

I think that would be enough reason for the Council to brand them as villains and begin an assault against them.
And have the species' of which the world was taken [break the faceplate of/rape] any quarian they can find.

I don't know ThunderTactics. The way BW set Daro up with that email, it looks like she'll be playing the part of the classical villain.

As for ways of convincing her without the need for bloodshed, there's the ULB for mollyfying her, the LLR for putting true fear of Shepard into her.

The ULB could even lead to a ragequit on her part, like Saren. Contrived, I know. It's already been used.

Or the whole thing could be a HUGE labyrinth of grey choices, with only a certain, VERY NARROW path getting her to stand down.

The ones I see BW tending to use are the ULB/LLR or violence though.
