As the email confirmation I received was rom EA, and the Contact Us link on the page you buy them through links to EA, I have been trying to find out where it is stated that credit card purchases will be put through as a cash advance and not a normal credit card charge. After a pointless link posting discussion with an online support person, I was told the issue would be refered to somebody higher up. Now EA are not even bothering to reply to my emails.
So I will try here. Where is it stated when buying Bioware Points that purchases will be put through as cash advances and not as normal credit card charges? It is not in either of the ToS's I find.

Ok, I sent in a new support request for Dragon Age as that was one of the only links provided there. Now we see who comes back to me first, my bank or customer service.

Bank wins, still nothing back from EA or Bioware, despite both original claiming they endeavour to get back to you within 24 hours.
