 so i saw the cutscene with the mother and she kept saying something about sending her people to father and whatever, anyone thinks this is the child of morrigan and the warden?

I assumed 'The Father' was the Architect. Been awhile since I played Awakening though so I'm not sure.

Yes the Architect is the father. the mother calls him that in the pre battle cut scene if you join forces with him.

My thought is that Morrigan is way too popular to end the way that the mother did and her story, at least I think so, is going to continue in further games.

I think bioware wanted us, the player, to think at first that the "mother" was Morrigan to give us a shock but then after story unfolds more, it is clear that she is not Morrigan.
