Ok I understand that the player will be able to pissoff a companion to the point in which they may abandone your group, right? after that, is there a chance to get them back? will they be hostyle to the player the next time they meet ? or are they out of the game for good once they leave the party?:innocent: or they still have they roll in the story evethought they left the party?

My understanding is that they're gone for good, but I'm not 100% certain about that.

I wonder, though, if there aren't quests that temporarily remove a companion from your party, such as Jaheira's sidequest in BG2.

it would be kinda cool if somebody you kicked out or left, comes back to get you out revenge or out of morality, dont know. or maybe a character could betray you out of the fact that he/she doesnt like the path you have taken, and maybe dont know challenge you to a duel or ally with one of the antagonist character and ambush you together.

They are gone for good, depending on the situation, they may just get up and leave, or they were violently object to you. If you know their personalities you'd probably get a sense of something that would push them over the edge like that.

I'm fairly sure that if you make them mad enough to leave, chances are they won't forgive you and join back up. Unless they are just a really forgiving and naive person.
