What is it with Jacob? Time to finally make a judgement.

The general statment made is that "Nobody likes Jacob".
I am curious what the results will be and I would really appreciate it, if many community members would give their opinion.
I hope that I provided the poll with sufficient answer options.

But while I did make this,

that doesn't mean I "hate" him.

How dare you, good forumite!
He was awesome in game 2. In game 1 he was like ugh.

Oh, in 2 he was great! But since that's not a Bioware game, it doesn't count. In 1 he would open a single Sith base door for me, then get swapped out and left on the ship for the rest of the game.Nightwriter wrote...

Jacob: Yeah, you're right Commander.
*
Jacob: Will you help me with my father?
Shepard: No.
Jacob: Yeah, it's probably best not to bother with it.
*
Shepard: How are you today Jacob?
Jacob: Meh, okay.
This is why.

Truth. I don't think I bothered to get two beeps out of him after Taris. Not like he had anything at all of interest to say anyway.
I guess you're right and it doesn't count if it was Obsidian and not Bioware.

Still think Jacob is full of steroids though. He had massive bulk on top, but nothing on the bottom (no sexual innuendo intended).

Until I tried my very first Femshep, then I started to see why people are having issues with his dialogue.

But even as maleShep, every talk with Jacob seemed to amount to, "Go away. I'm just fine without you bothering my existence."

I nothing'd Jacob. All of his cool background is ignored (why couldn't his loyalty mission have been about the Corsairs?) and his 'cant talk' line is annoying.

Plus, there's the whole Priiiize thing.... all his interactions were like some bad soft core movie. Ugh.

He just didn't really bring anything to the table squad power wise.
I found his Pull and Squad Ammo power to be useful with my Sentinel. I took him along a good bit during that playthrough.

Plus, something to remember: He's the first Cerberus employee you meet in the franchise who isn't trying to kill you.
