They also said that Zaeed would be day 1 DLC, and they had to push back Return to Ostagar twice I believe. I'm not saying that it won't be up today, but it wouldn't surprise me too much if it was delayed a bit.

Well there were no achievements for Firewalker. I'll settle for one achievement here. Just realized that it's 11 in Bioware's Canada location. I'm assuming they plan for the DLC to be up at noon for them.

Why not? I'm not saying it's important or something, it's just fun. It could also keep the game alive. I already grew tired playing ME2 after around 10 playthrough.

They can only add so many achievements. Xbox Live still has a rule about games being able to have a maximum of 1750 G with DLC achievements. Bioware's saving the points for the larger DLC packs.
