I'm having a cutscene where a creature is slightly hidden in the dark. This requires the creature to receive lighting instead of being lit by default, so it doesn't appear like a sore thumb when it's supposed to be hidden in the dark.
Is this even possible?
Receiving light for creatures?

Could you add an fx that will obscure the visual of the character somewhat? Is the character supposed to be more or less skulking in the shadows?

Yes, skulking in the shadows. I'll look into the fx's and see if there's anything I can use, thanks.

try to set up a level with no light probe and no ambient light. to lit the geometry use baked lights. to lit parts or the character use static lights only affecting characters with a small radius.

I didn't know the character light also affected creatures. That makes it all much easier, thanks.
