It was made by the infamous Ed Wood and starred a washed up Bela Lugosi, who died part way through filming. Ed just got another actor to take his place and just had him cover his face from the nose down with a cape during the rest of the film so no one would know it wasn't Lugosi.

"Then they attacked a town. A small town, but nevertheless a town of people. People who died."
*edit* someone mentioned it while my post was in limbo

but then a few films that stand out as "WTF" being in such a list, ones I think were put in because maybe the person listing them doesn't like them or something... I dunno.
Not gonna name names or anything -
my "so bad it's good" list includes:
The Pirate Movie - 80's version of Pirates of Penzance
Flash Gordon - Max von Sydow as Ming!
Tank Girl
Sgt. Kabukiman
Hudson Hawk
Someone else listed Killer Klowns - that's an excellent choice!

I might actually hurt myself watching that. I just do not know if it would be willingly clawing my eyes out or from laughter.

I re-watched Episode One and I never realized that Yoda was so sickly during that movie. Glad he got over it by Episode Two however.

Now that is a "good" bad movie. It was hilarious, especially some of the dialogue.
" Crazy sky birds"
" He's been mudered. And someone's responsible."

BLECH!
There's "so bad it's good" like Tokyo Gore Police (heh!),
and then there's JUST PLAIN BAD - like the Star Wars prequels.
---
Also - good pick up on Johnny Mnenomic - I almost forgive you for listing District 9 now. (you know who you are, Waffle Man!)

In spite of the bad acting, dialogue and immense plot holes, I still found the prequals entertaining.
Actually, I didn't list District 9. I think it's a good movie
