I have to say it . . .

Star Wars Episodes 1, 2 and 3

BLECH!

There's "so bad it's good" like Tokyo Gore Police (heh!),
and then there's JUST PLAIN BAD - like the Star Wars prequels.

---

Also - good pick up on Johnny Mnenomic - I almost forgive you for listing District 9 now. (you know who you are, Waffle Man!)

In spite of the bad acting, dialogue and immense plot holes, I still found the prequals entertaining.

Actually, I didn't list District 9. I think it's a good movie

Hes talking about me and District 9.

I liked Episode 3... thats about it. (well of course 4-6)

Can we just make a blanket statement of "any movie the SciFi channel makes that has a single word as its title"

Thought of another one I enjoyed, the one where Hulk Hogan is a nanny...so many disturbing images of the Hulkster in a tutu

Disturbing or arousing? Eye of the beholder my friend.

Someone got my obvious choice early on of Starship Troopers...

I'm going to have to go with......The Dark Crystal!

Jim Henson and what muppets would be if they were evil and dark.

~Shakes head at mention of the Dark Crystal in this thread~ The Froud fan in me is deeply hurt. I have to sulk elsewhere now. ;_;

And yet Legend is mentioned?

Both are extremely cheesy and corny. Which is what makes them good.

.....huuuuuummmmmm!!

What? That is the epitome of great acting, excellent actions, interesting dialogue, and plot/character development...

That would be one more that was sitting on the tip of my tongue.

Lesbian Vampire Killers

addiction21... that was horrible. Funny as all get out, but horrible. O.o

There was a favorite movies of all time thread awhile ago and Labyrinth was on my list. Maybe I have a fondness for Jim Henson. (I loved Fraggle Rock and enjoyed most of the muppet movies as a kid, despite knowing even then that the latter were hokey.)

In Labyrinth's case, it opened my eyes to the wider world of real life mythology and the art of Brian Froud. A bit cheesy? Well okay, maybe. Not as cheesy as Legend, Krull, or goddesses forbid, Fire and Ice, but fine... there's a bit of cheddar there. However, I like Labyrinth way too much to say it's good by dint of being so awful it was entertaining. It just doesn't meet that criteria for me personally. C'est la vie... I guess. :P

I like Labyrinth, but yeah, it was bad.

The 3 Ninjas movies are all pretty stupid, but awesome. I think the one with Hogan is on the 100 worst movies on imdb.com.

Gremlins 2 also was a little stupid, but I enjoyed it. Wow, that makes three I've come up with that feature Hulk Hogan in some way.

As a kid? Hell over christmas and last summer I had to text/call everyone I could think of because their were muppet marathons on. Hokey is okay.

Heres another one for you darling. http://video.adultsw...ip-fraggle.html

I also have to add Under Siege 2: Dark Territory.

I can't shake the feeling that this movie is bad, but I still find it entertaining as hell. Realistically, that can be said for any Steven Seagal/Jean-Claude Van Damme/Chuck Norris film.

I would say Kung Pow: Enter the Fist, but I don't consider it a bad movie. Just extremely low budget.

Your second link wasn't as funny as the first. Good stuff though. :) Robot Chicken rarely fails to make me smile. Sometimes I even laugh. :D

Three more movies...

My Best Friend is a Vampire
Fright Night
Saturday the 14th

Edit: Kung Pow was epic. :D I think any badness was wholly intentional, really. It's a spoofing film after all.

Hokey or cheesy I think would fit it better. Same goes for Kung Fu Hustle (I think that is right)

I would add you as a friend, Seagloom, but, you know.

Been there, done that.

I didn't think anyone else had even heard of My Best Friend is a Vampire, let alone Saturday the 14th!

A kung fu movie thats so bad it's good is No Retreat, No surrender.  Russian mobster attempt to take over dojos in Beverly HillsPosted Image

Also have to add Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins!  It stars the other main character from Tremors (not Kevin Bacon) and he's a cop who goes into a coma to be reborn as a James Bond esque secret agent.  Top the movie off with Captain Janeway as the love interest, Wilfred Brimley, and a slightly bizarre Korean as his master, and you get a bizarre 80's adventure. Many of the James Bond movies. I have no time or even feel like sorting thru the montrosity that is that list, but there are plenty that are horrible movies but are still great.
