I live in Toledo (Well, a suburb of it), which is just south of Detroit and almost as bad. I go to Detroit often to visit my Canadian family, and it's terrible there.

True, at least you snagged something. I just got incredibly lucky to be able to get books, espcially signed ones

I think I've been to Indiana once, so young I can't even remember it.

I go into downtown Oakland 3-4 times a week, and it's got one of the highest crime rates in the nation (particularly homicides)... but really it's not that bad

It's very possible, but who knows. Personally I would just go for whatever shows up first, be it the laptop or the desktop.

I had a few friends who lost jobs during the latest economic troubles, and ended up moving to different parts of the country, Boise, Boston, LA.  I'm in the DC area, which is supposedly "stable".

Yeah then at least you have a backup if you don't win (and can see if there are more than one person with more tokens than you?)

i was born in defiance ohio. its pretty close to toledo i guess

but i was an army brat and have been in louisiana since i was 8
