I'm sick of Chicago. Been here all my life, way to many morons, criminals, and jobless friends.
At least it's not Detroit, that's where my Mom's family is from

They're everywhere, my friend.
Just large cities have larger concetrations of them in smaller areas - but, overall, no real higher percentage of them.

LOL, come to Indiana, the roads may be worse, but at least they aren't always under construction
I live in Toledo (Well, a suburb of it), which is just south of Detroit and almost as bad. I go to Detroit often to visit my Canadian family, and it's terrible there.

Merin you going for the first computer to be auctioned (probably the lappy, I think the desktop will be last)?
That's my plan.
Plans change, though...
I would really rather have the desktop - I'm just worried some dark horse with 18k or more is waiting for it, too.

It's very possible, but who knows. Personally I would just go for whatever shows up first, be it the laptop or the desktop.

I had a few friends who lost jobs during the latest economic troubles, and ended up moving to different parts of the country, Boise, Boston, LA. I'm in the DC area, which is supposedly "stable".

Yeah then at least you have a backup if you don't win (and can see if there are more than one person with more tokens than you?)
