It is a good hope. That is the nice thing about 24 hour auctions at 15 minute intervals. People have to go sleep, eat, and use the facilities at some point. They can't all be looking all the time. Keep that chin up!

Autographed genre fiction will never make it into high monetary value, except in very rare cases. And, unfortunately, those cases are how you described them - based on fame rather than the narrative, but it's fame based on pop culture. Autographed Harry Potter books? Score. Autographed Twilight ****? Score. Autographed George R. R. Martin literature? Less so, but probably still a little score (although it'd probably read, "To so-and-so, quit your ****ing please"). Most other writers of genre literature? No chance.

Heck, even signed literary fiction isn't a big deal.

But it is Dragon Age related, and this game has at least made a slight dent in the minds of gamers everywhere. So I'm sure it has more value and just a regular piece of fiction.

It is awesome, its why it was my back-up plan.

But I already own almost all of it -
I'd get the mouse pad, the fleece jacket, Jade Empire on the PC (I have it for the XBOX) and ME2 for the PC (I have it for the 360.)  Everything else I've got.

So it'd be really the PC version of a game I already own and the jacket.  Cool, but not worth throwing away 2 more chances at a computer.

that's my hope.

It's basically down to a match of wills and stamina at this point.  The cards are dealt, the tokens you all have are what they are, so that part you can't worry about. 


You just need to make sure you're vigilant on when it comes up, and are ready to bring the heat.  With all of us here, one of us is bound to shout it out to you as well.  :happy:  And if they falter ... well, too bad.

Indeed. I still have a hard time believing that I actually won my books. Out of the thousands of people on here bidding on the same things I actually got one of them.

and there are probably others like me - ones who may have more tokens than you, but aren't going to take just whatever.  I own a lot of what is up for auction - I'm not going to get more novels or comics or games I already own just to have won "something" - I'd rather people who didn't have those things get them.
