I think BioWare is doing an amazing job at keeping things fair. Some people are really good at getting their personal link out there where a lot of people click it. There is nothing unfair or outlandish about 11k and 12k numbers....they were just better than us at getting their link where a lot of people click it or they won a lot of Chris' Challenges....there was a guy on here earlier who said he won 7 of Chris' Challenges....unusual since most people only win one or two but not unfair and he had over 13k. There have been very few auctions that ended over 13k.

Maybe not a desktop, but most likely a lap top. Hang in there. Also, I won 4 challenges which is pretty good considering I only entered about half of them due to being in school for part of the whole thing.

There weren't that many bids over 13k and the reason you're seeing more now is becase time and auctions are running out. There are only 4 hours and 16 auctions left now so people like Merin who have 14k or more are seeing their time and options run out and going for smaller rewards than they originally planned on. And it's the weekend, nobody's working or going to school or anything.

My primary target is, of course, the laptop.

I realize that it'll be only won for me by timing at this point.  Maybe a 20% chance (I'm probably being too optimistic) -

if the last video card comes up first, it'll be really hard for me to NOT bid for it, however.

A 5970 is the fastest single card on the planet. 2 5670's can't even come close.
