If they do this again I hope they publish a schedule to the auctions. It's something normal auctions do and it really could have taken a lot of pressure out of the thing.

I'd prefer a blind *and* silent auction.  But that's just my $0.02.

Yeah I should have made a fort, or I should have melted all the cans down and sold them to a scrapper to help pay for my hospital visit when the heart attack comes

I have to say, even though I wasn't in the auction with Merin, and that I really can't know or feel what he did, I'm completely wracked over his loss. I can only imagine how he feels.

He seemed alright with it, I remember him saying that even if he didn't win he felt good about helping out those less token fortunate than him.

I know, and that's why he's such a prince of a guy.  I still feel like there's a pit in my stomach.

Hi there Yoomi, the last auction was the final laptop.  Merin lost to AtiRadeon.    And he had let some other nice prizes that were clearly within his grasp go to others.
