first off 10k isn't all that high of a number if you got right to throwing your url out into the web right away.  I threw it into a few threads on some different forums online and I still didn't pass the 500 point threashold last Saturday or Sunday.  Also I hate facebook/twitter and the like so I didn't have that resource to mine.  I had been watching some of the threads in here regarding the token totals and I honestly I expected way more people to have higher than 10k going into today.

I am with you on that.  I got 2 web referrals for the extra points, but I have never used Twitter or Facebook.  Now I did sign up for Twitter and I answered at least 6 questions correct, but never got any points.  Very depressing the way this is working, especially the 24 hours clock and new ones every 15 minutes, but hey, until the auction stay around the 6000 mark I'm out of luck!

Under where you get the refferal link it says it resets at -7 GMT which is Mountain time in the U.S.

Looks l;ike the bids might be slowing down for a bit right now...or then again maybe it's the item that up for bid that is just not totally popular...I mean last count, only 4 bids on latest item. apposed to earlier when we were having 10+ bids in a matter of 2 seconds...and that's before whatever item popped 10k...

Same here.  I hate facebook too.  Twitter, well, I kind of love Twitter.  However, I never won any of the Twitter challenges .

A lot of the people that were sporting well over 10k were being axed because they were found to be cheating using the image trick.

I've heard about an image trick but I don't really know what that is or means.  I just concerned myself with my total and holding up my end of the bargain when it came to the referral link threads.
