I got a bit over 10k without any trickery at all.

Whats funny is bioware is going to claim the auctions/tokens was a success even though we have 21 pages of people saying they hate it.

Haha, yeah I was thinking about that. They'll throw something about the community loving it as well.

Its bad enough that I have no shot at winning anything, but even worse I didn't know about the site until this stupid thing happened.

I don't hate the auction, I hate the people who have made it into a freaking spam festival.

10k is not very much. if my referral clicks over the weekend had gone better I'd have more than that

This is ridiculous, all the bids are upwards of 10000 points, what about the Bioware fans who have jobs, or in my case SDSU business? I couldn't do a lot of the challenges because I was busy. PLUS, I can't be checking this site every fifteen minutes.

Yeah, this is utterly ridiculous. I can't even stand a chance. Hopefully people blow through all their points quickly. Maybe just maybe....

If I wasn't in the military doing something important with my time, I might have been able to compete.

I knew I wouldn't win anything but I said to myself I will at least bid on something!  It took roughly 30 seconds for the item to get out of my reach! =)

So help me out please!

People hate it because most people have very small chances of actually winning something.

i hate it because this event has nothing to do with the community. i would rather have had swtor beta or a bioware convention announced. this event just attracted thousands of trolls who lurk the internet looking for free contests to compete in. they just want to win free stuff, i don't hold that against them. but they are strangers and they do not count as "the community"

so gratz bioware, you marketed to a bunch of strangers. i guess that is an epic community event?

Draugr doesn't have a game registered? He's either really popular, or... Well you know.

He obviously answered the questionnaires.

I knew this thread would be full of people implying that the competition is "rigged" or people are "cheating" or have "no life!".

Its always a case of the "have nots" dragging the "haves" down with them.

Just remember y'all just cause you don't recognize a name doesn't mean they haven't been quietly reading the forums for months now. =)

If we had increments implemented, I do believe that there would be a much better chance for everyone. Unless a person was extremely determined to get a prize. It would be kind of a crap shoot though with people bidding at the last possible second.

the high bids won't stop....400+ items....over 1K people follow biofeed. How many exploiters in that group? Enough to win the prizes I bet.

Yeah, but what about the people who have registered only after the contest was announced? Those accounts are subject to question.

They should auction something stupid like the contents of a garbage can sitting around the office.
Or a tissue box, id bet it would go for over 10k too.

Oh wow...  I laughed...  REALLY hard from that.

Thanks man...  I needed that.  You really cheered me up.

And the least they could do is write N7 on the side of the Tissue box.
Or have Chris spit into a Dixie cup and write LOCKDOWN! on the side.

You mean the spammers or the marketing people that created it?
