Geez, people are spending so much on the most mundane things that this whole thing is becoming rather ridiculous. :\\ I'm really disappointed with the way this whole thing turned out. Still hoping I can win a Mass Effect art book for my 8958 tokens.

I actually had a lot of friends I play video games iwth help me out and I got over 10k tokens.  I also got lucky by winning a challenge or two.

if it seemed like everyone had an equal chance, i think it may have worked the way people wanted, like toss in some dlc that everyone can win who takes part or something, i dont know.

The issue here is that loyal BioWare customers who bought and registered all registerable games have less than 6k tokens.

Meanwhile people who aren't part of the community, haven't registered any of the games and are unknown to any of us have upwards of 14k tokens from link spamming alone.

That's atrocious.

The token gathering still works, via twitter challenges ot referral points, as long as you aren't cheating to get the clicks.

What happens if you couldn't bid on an item because of a cheater like that 14k guy and as the auction closes another cheater gets thrown out? Are you SoL if someone with less tokens then you owns the PC because you were unable to bid due to a cheater?
