This thread is why Bioware shouldn't have wiped out the points of anyone using the image BBcode.
No matter what BioWare does, the "have nots" are always going to cry foul at anyone who has more points than them.

thought i would stop by to see if there was anything my 5500 points would get me, and i can't even really make a bid on anything...
This doesn't seem to really be a contest as much as Bioware asking people to spam their friends for a chance to get something.
i did everything but post the link, even signed up for twitter (which i can't stand).
oh well, i'll just go back to waiting for when i can go home and download the DLC with Kasumi

I said this in another thread, but I wish they would have just given bioware DLC points to those that registered their games to use on future DLC.  This would have keep in line with EA's project 10-15 dollar (also there wouldn't have been country restictions I believe), and would have rewarded those that purchased and registered new games.  Also would have still provided positive PR for appreciating customers.

I did laugh a bit when I loaded the page and it basically looked like a t-shirt with a hard drive on it going for 11 thousand.

Maybe you'll get extra points for how good you've taken care of older games, like a picture of the receipt for KOTOR ,individual pictures showing how all four CDs don't have a single scratch on them...

I think you're putting it a little strongly. The game was still fun, leading up to the auction. There was really nothing wrong with that.

It's just that the token farmers really ruined things for those of us who didn't have the time to farm tokens. So far, the auction may as well not be happen for a whole lot of us. 30 seconds into each item they're passed 10,000. Even the cheap items.
