There were numerous people who couldn't participate, but were standing on top of their moral soapbox by claiming that the people who used the image BBCode were cheating(you know, that little link on the top when you reply to people that everyone can access)

There had to be a way they could have given tokens for beating Mass Effect 2 on Insanity Level or for purchasing the Collector's Edition instead of the Regular Edition none of this social networking silliness.

I think the auction itself is a novel idea, but it's implemented all wrong.

They shouldn't have this idiotic link spammage, or Twitter stuff. Instead find ways to reward forum and community participation (on top of game registering).

I was kind of hoping they'd add on some other ways to get points, like playtime in Dragon Age (although you could exploit that by just leaving it on, I guess) or achievements in it or something. Or, like someone said earlier, maybe allow you to get points for registering your older bioware games (in fact I know on the earlier version of the forums I already did that).
