Because they're written by the lead writers of the games (unlike most game tie in books) they're actually really good and fit into the storyOnyx Jaguar wrote...
Literature packs are a hot item...
Can't speak for the comics, don't have those.
Yeah, David Gaider is an amazing writer. I'm a bit put off that he wasn't the lead for Awakening. But he didn't write the comic book, either.

Ugh, I just read in a thread that I'd have to pay a tax in a contest win. Blehh!
I believe so, the contest rules talk about it somewhere.
Is it just Sales Tax or something? I mean, what kind of tax? We don't have Sales Tax in Oregon... Nothing really that I can think of that would legally make me pay tax on an item.
Edit: I mean, I know sales tax makes like no sense... but I honestly can't think of anything in Oregon that would bind me to paying a tax for something like this.
The federal tax on prizes of (I think) 600 is due to them considering it as another source of income.
That's pretty accurate. I can't remember the exact dollar amount, since those change for most things every year, but this would be similar to if you enetered a raffle or something. Most of the time, people don't end up reporting anything because the prize isn't big enough. Those computers might be enough, but I don't think much else on the list is, but you should also consider you're current filing situation too.

You misread my statement. I was implying that you've won things and not reported them on your taxes.darkmagic47 wrote...
Nope. Damn morals would make me feel guilty for it. I belive in karma, and that would most definently come back to bite me!Rive Caedo wrote...

I like RtO, it was a good DLC for the amount of $ it cost. I got it before I was supposed to when they accidentally released it with an Xbox 360 software update

same (most students still don't) that and since my prize is $30 somehow don't think that is much for taxes
