@REShepard and Yoomi - thanks a bunch for the clicks! It's more thoughtful of a gift than a lot of the wedding guests that don't plan on giving anything...~_~...It wouldn't bother me if it was a money situation, but some of them are user types...I wouldn't have invited them if it weren't for the fact that my fiancé wanted them...or are his family members...XD
Having JackHole Family members who leech and dislike em ..thats worth a click ..heck in my book thats worth like 20 clicks lol
LOL...I find it messed up that it's his first marriage, and his mother says she can't afford to give a gift or contribute anything towards his wedding...that was absolutely fine, but now his older sister is getting married for the second time around his birthday, and his mother has been helping her out completely...wtf? How much do you want to bet that my fiancé isn't going to get a birthday/christmas gift this year because of her wedding (he's born around christmas time)? ~_~
Wow ....just wow...that is messed up like beyond words. I mean they cant give chinet for your first bbq or somthing , you have my sympathy and my clicks

Oh wow, that's very thoughtful of you! I've only signed on here since November, but haven't been an active forum member until recently...
But I understand the book deal...I have one of the books, haven't read it yet, but I know this tends to happen with a lot of games to books situations, or sci fi shows to books...
I love speculative fiction and try to read a book a week. I picked up Ascension and The Stolen Throne – both were about a four hour read and kinda boring.
Aw man...that's a shame...I used to read a lot when I was in school, but now I barely touch a book...strike that, I still buy them all the time, I just never have the time to sit down and read one...someday I will...I tend to like more fantasy-driven stories, and the last book I read was Mercedes Lackey's "A Fortune's Fool"...I really loved the Russian and Japanese culture influences she slipped in that one, and apparently she really likes Russian culture and fairy tales, which is a plus in my book...
Funny though, I don't know why I love Russian stuff so much...as far as I can tell I don't have any Russian blood in me...

Thanks...We're used to it though...it sucks since that's the only family he has, but we live a good hour apart, so at least we don't have to meet all the time...my parents have been better for him in the past two years than his own family his entire life. But don't get me wrong, they do care for him, it's just obvious that between him and his trouble-maker sister who gets pampered and who's expected to "be a man"... >_<
