I hope to hell that when they make the contest for the excluded areas it's not something like this.

I doubt there will be one, legal jumpropes usually make businesses not even try.

But if they do, I hope you're right.

I used to work in a toy store back in the TickleMe Elmo day ...

That was a level of hell I have yet to redescend to.

Similar here, save that I worked at the toy store when Pokemon cards first became the rage, and man that holiday season sucked. So few booster packs, so many angry parents...

I was so into those things. We rode all over trying to find them so I could get a Vaporeon card. I ended up trading my friend a Volpex or something to get it.

I wonder how much Mordin's paper on inter-species romance would cost...

Wow, you people are complaining that Bioware is away free stuff! Will nothing please you?

No, I'm complaining that their contest is poorly executed, poorly planned, and poorly thought out. Plus it's not like they are "giving away" free stuff, the cost of running this contest is probably on par if not below what they would have spent to advertise the bioware social network, while being simultaneously more effective than an ad probably would have been.

I think it's only for the first couple hours/days. People are getting frustrated and bidding super high amounts right now because they want to win.

We don't even know what the schedule will be like, so I can't imagine it will stay like this.

Alright, everyone settle down. This has only been the first few hours of the auction. If we just wait we might have a chance at the crumbs leftover on Friday or Saturday.

Keep dreaming... do the math...

There are only 418 prize packs...

How many people do you think have more tokens than you?

If you have <9k tokens (like me), then I'm guessing the number of people capable of outbidding you are more than 1,000 (probably way over a thousand).

How many auctions will occur where at least one of those >1,000 people aren't willing to spend their tokens?

Will you be watching, and bidding on, that particular auction?

Our only real hope at this point is that BioWare will decide to do something to alleviate the bad feelings the Bazaar is generating.

My suggestion to BioWare?

After the auctions are over, allow people to convert their unused tokens into BioWare points (at a decent enough ratio to make people happy) so that they can spend them on merchandise/DLC/whatever as a reward for participating.

Yes, this would end up costing BioWare a significant amount of money, but if people are able to get a ME2 mousepad (or other BioWare branded farkle) for their tokens, you'll still get some advertising for your money, and you'll have a happier community.

This is acutally such a perfect solution that if bioware DOESN'T use it, they're morons.

Yeah, the twitter question is now "do you agree with Cerberus's Humanity First goal?"

The questions update on the token page first, it is where the official timer is

I feel sorry for you, i still don't understand why there were people killed over a stupid toy!

Black Friday may be fun if approached in the proper manner.  A golfcart with a siren painted to look like a police car.  Croquet mallets, a bullhorn, and jockey outfits, copious quantities of alcohol.  Just chase people around in the parking lot screaming "TALLY HO!" and whatnot.

Don't go inside though, those poor sufferers doing retail have enough trouble.

Still clicking other folks links, could use a lot of clicks for my own. Only 13 so far today. need 37 more. *sniffles*

I'm in the same  boat.  I think with the way things are people are spending all their tokens to win one thing.  And since the people without high numbers of token now will have high tokens later on the in the week you have to have a minimum of 10k to win.. =(

So please click!
