I think you can get them with your prescription. No idea if the contest will let you do that or just send you a non-prescription pair, but I figured I'd throw a bid in anyway. I stare at a screen nine hours a day anyway, maybe they would help my eyes.

If you actually read about them rather than just make an off-handed comment, you would realise you can get them with your prescription. My roommate has a pair of them and they do work quite well for extended periods of screen-staring.

Of course they help with  screen-staring but,  you're not answering my question, how do they reduce noise?
