If you actually read about them rather than just make an off-handed comment, you would realise you can get them with your prescription. My roommate has a pair of them and they do work quite well for extended periods of screen-staring.

Of course they help with  screen-staring but,  you're not answering my question, how do they reduce noise?

Visual noise is not easily recognized until you DON'T see it. You hear the term a lot in Photography and Cinematography. It's not that easy to explain, just do a quick google search.

Side note: This is the style of Gunnars that I want
