There's over 2000 items of the 400 prizes available. Some in extremely limited quantity. like the PCs.

Thank you for correcting me.  I was in error.  However, my point still stands.  Considering how many people adore Bioware and have signed up (some who may not even OWN a Bioware game but was given the link to sign up and do the quizzes, etc) there is still almost no chance.  Without a cap on tokens, it's unlikely that any normal person will get anything.

However, I may be proven wrong and I hope I am.

Yeah, it's looking like people with 10k or over are probably just going to blow through the auction for the frist few hours and tear it up.  On off-hours, and after a couple days have gone by, the bidding will even out.

People will bid everything so that they can take what they can get.

Yep, with so many people having so many tokens, the odds that any of us in the 7-8000 range are pretty slim.

less than 10k might be a possible winning amount, but it seems like someone just throwing that down like a gauntlet quickly removes much of the competition from contention

These folks have no concept of a competitive auction, they're just bidding all their tokens right off the bat. xD

I imagine that bids will be lower closer to the end... I imagine most people are operating under the strategy of 'all in', and that as time passes, there will be more options for people with fewer tokens.

The computer bidders will be over 20k(and this is just a conservative estimate).
I gaurantee it.
