This is one of the few times I'm GLAD for having a desk job, sitting in front of the computer. I get to... uh... watch the auctions quickly get out of my "price" range? Hrm. I may have to rethink that.

Naw, I kind of love auctions. I'd LOVE to win something, obviously, but I still get a kick of just seeing where things'll go.

Is cheating an issue? Because I don't think its possible to 10000 tokens unless you're going into game stop with a pen and paper copying down UPCs

Well, given how this Auction is going thus far, and the number of Tokens being thrown in, I think it's safe to say that this whole thing will be dominated by an Elite few who managed to aquire rather large Sums of Tokens. Even though BioWare went through and skimmed some tokens from those who used the Exploit, it still seems as though a few have managed to keep thier respective numbers high, and it's these people that seem to now and will continue to essentially Own the Auction. God knows I will still try, and thankfully I don't have my eye set on anything major, however, for those who only managed to aquire basic sums of tokens I don't think this auction is really for those who fall into that catagory. Oh well, the Idea behind the Auction was and is Fun at the least.

The computer bidders will be over 20k(and this is just a conservative estimate).
I gaurantee it.

This is why URL linking for points was wrong wrong wrong, there are far too many easy ways to abuse it.

Incorrect.  Biofeed will still be putting out questions on Twitter to win points.  So it is possible.  But what does 500 extra mean when people already have 20k+?

 Please someone from Bioware answer this question.

Is it against the rules if i win an auction and then get it sent to my friend in the US who then in turn sends it to me as a gift.

If that is against the rules I wont bother bidding but i need a definitive answer so i dont do something stupid and get him in trouble.

A group of people working together can setup multiple accounts and rack up a number of the prizes. A group that had enough planning can take most of the prizes amongst themselves. The flaw in the contest was not having a max on the referral links. If I wanted to be a jerk about it, i could have created accounts for all my friends and relatives and then just have the prizes shipped there. Once one account hit a huge amount of tokens, start advertising the other accounts. A bogus link or 100 around the web and your on to something. The referrals were the one part of the contest that really just needed a max limit.
