No, I just don't see anything going for that low as more and more people are getting tokens still. We're actually creating more 9k bidders just in this thread alone.pattyb009 wrote...
Do you guys think that anything will ever sell for under 8k? I'm curious as to if the prices will drop or if they will stay about the same.
It's a good and bad thing as those people here get to get stuff but I also know I'm just not going to get anything.
Now, that is unless we start seeing really cheap stuff up for auction like a mousepad or something.

There's no consumer drives that have a higher density than 2TB as far as I'm aware. I believe Hitachi started working on that technology last year, but I haven't heard anything about it. The world is moving towards SSD's anyway. Those are far more expensive for far less space (256GB runs for about $400).
Solid state? Hope work on the security problem for that.
What security problem? They're just as "secure" as any normal hard drive (Aka not secure at all unelss you use software to encrypt them).

Man it is so hard not to just give up. I mean I keep clicking and clicking and trying to bid only to be outbid within a second. Ugh. This gets so frustrating sometimes.
Just gotta keep at it. I managed to go from 5950 to 8963 in just two days, really busting my bum and it's still a struggle but i'm holding out hope.

My computer has a 140 gigs of space. When I first bought it that was considered "A lot"
The previous space decreases as your current age increases.

No, the prices will stay pretty similar. you're going to need about ~8500 to have a chance at snagging anything whatsoever. The problem is, as these 9 and 10k people burn out, other people with 7 and 8 k have caught up and are replacing them. So you have to keep earning to be competitive.
I figured as much. XD I've been posting in here pretty much all day and I've grown a bit, but I'm still lacking. I'm not sure if I'll make enough, but I've been trying. lol. Also, Twitter hates me. XD I do everything you're supposed to in a relationship, wine and dine, but twitter holds out on me. lol

I could have had that hard drive. Even after the sniping I still had enough to take it. Very tempting. But I have to wait.

So... are the higher prices due to inflation, or is this just when the auctions are the busiest? I'm thinking about getting on around 6am EST and I'm wondering if it's worth it...
um speaking for some of the people that have seen 6 am come and go ...it seems like if you got the points and you want it ...go for it

actualy the prices are lowering from what they once were and yes they decrease at night (or at least the number of people with a lot decrease only problem is hopeing enough of your item go up to get rid of the people that can outbid you

Well it is around 11:30PM EST which could be considered late to some but that means it is only 9:30 PST which could still be considered prime time.
I'm still holding out for tonight.
